Jazz and World Fusion with Bitter Almond and Tezat

Eastern fusion group Tezat team up with experimental folk jazz group Bitter Almond to provide a night of jazz and eastern inspired fusion. 8-11pm $5 entry Farouk's Olive 711 High street, Thornbury Bitter Almond skates the borders of folk, jazz and experimental pop, showcasing open, improvised arrangements of original music and traditional folk songs. Acoustic and electric guitars converse with effects and vocal loops while exceptional songwriting takes centre stage. Born out of a fascination of Eastern soundscape and odd time signatures, this is a dynamic quartet explores original work, Eastern musics, Modern jazz and improvisation textures.
